Bjørg Nordli-Mathisen grew up in the north of Norway and began making one-of-a-kind jewellery while living in India in 2004. She kept her nomadic lifestyle, always drifting towards the corners of the world in search of inspiration.
The 2012 collection, Not all those who wander are lost, is a venture through dreamlike landscapes. The inspiration is drawn from mythology and tales, playing with escapist and romantic fantasies. The collection makes up an odyssey of imagination, mystique and poetry, switching between dreams and reality, thus welcoming Dark Knights, Pale Moons, Magic Hours and Misty Mountains.
All pieces are handmade and materials like opals, crystals, feathers and horsehair are 100 % natural, obtained in accordance to environmental preservation. ▲

A few years ago I came across an amazing black and white photograph of a Teddy Boy. Beautifully aged and stories written in the lines on his face. I looked up the photographer on the internet, it was Ben Watts. Born in London, now based in New York, brother of actress Naomi Watts, son of Peter Watts, a road manager for Pink Floyd. His work has been seen in various international fashion magazines, such as InStyle, GQ, Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair. But his portraits are my favorites, especially the Teddy Boy series.
I have to confess that I took the photo off the internet, had it printed and framed, it’s been on my living room wall ever since, till I can afford the real deal of course… ▲

Duran Duran knows that the good ol’ trick ‘casting supermodels for your new video guarantees views and attention’ still works like hell.
For their latest music video, “Girl Panic!”, the band cast supermodels Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford and Eva Herzigova. These icons personify the band, fully dressed in Dolce & Gabbana’s F/W collection, in the nine-minute music video directed by Jonas Akerlund (who also directed Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ video). Seriously, what can go wrong? ▲
